F A I T H (IMAN)

Ramadhan is coming, everybody in our family are happy, we are ready to do fasting. This is the hardest fasting time for my kids. It is because at lunch time all the students have to go to the lunch room and they eat their lunch together. My kids have to stay there too, even though they don’t eat. Some kids were asking them, why don’t you eat your lunch? Coz I am fasting... Why are you fasting..? I am doing this, for my God, Allah also this is the month of Ramadhan.. Every Moslem all over the world they do fasting. Fasting is one of 5 pillars in Islam. So, we have to do, also as a Moslem. Even we do fasting; we still can play and do others things.. We are not hungry... Fasting also to educate ourselves to be honest.. To be honest to ourselves.. So.. Allah knows even no body’s know.

Alhamdulillah… My God, I am glad to have them, MasyaAllah they really great kids…I tell them you can break your fasting anytime you want to. But mom, I can hold it, and if Allah telling me to do it, I should do it… I can eat and even you don’t know, but Allah knows… Alhamdulillah, maybe this is call faithful

Ehmmm… what is Faith? I am thinking to write this for my kids, even they already did it…but maybe they don’t really understand the definition.

Iman is an
Islamic term, literally meaning "to learn", "to fully observe one's faith" or "to learn one's faith", and lexically meaning affirmation and confirmation in the heart, as can be found in a verse of the Qur'an

From Al-Quran as a literature (my friend called “Buku Krepekan”):

QS. Ali Imran 171-172
171.They glory in the Grace and the Bounty from Allah, and in the fact that Allah suffereth not the reward of the Faithful to be lost (in the least).
172 Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward.

So the word faith has meaning to obey Allah even though we never see Allah but we believe on him and we obey what Allah said in Al-Quran.

QS Ali-Imran 191
The definition of faithful are those who remember God, standing and sitting, and on their sides."

Iman/Faith Pillars in Islam, is to affirm your faith in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers and the Last Day, and to believe in the Divine Destiny whether it be good or bad."

So, I believe there is no religion or faith can be better than the religion chosen by Allah, for His servants.

QS Al-Maidah 3
"This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. "

QS Al-Imran 31
"Say ( O Mohammed to mankind ) if you really love Allah, then follow me (i.e. accept Islam, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive your sins and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

QS Al baqarah 277 :
Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

In Al-Quran every word of Faith always continuing by prayer, charity, and righteousness. So Iman or faith, It’s mean the believing in the heart, telling and also doing.

Some literature wrote that if Iman with Islam are together, the Islam mean all the physically act, including telling and doing and Iman all about what we believing our heart.

I Love you both my lovely kids. Also special Thank's for my invisible friend, who ask me to write this home work. May Allah bless you all the reader
